Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas. In Texas, she started a new career in physical therapy. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long. She shortly after relocated in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, as well as independent commercials and films. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she loved acting. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's morning soap-opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first role in a major series on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside many famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring part. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. In the NBC's dramatic, dark drama Do No Harm she played the character as Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is from Italian heritage and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was strict and spiritual one. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. Babysitters took her to the first audition. The four selected girls among over a thousand potential candidates included Milano. Milano was featured on television in commercials as well as off Broadway productions like an adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
